Kiosk mode is a common way to “lock down” a Windows device when that device is used for a specific task or used in a public setting. For example, it can secure a point-of-sale (POS) application, preventing users from tabbing out of the application, browsing other apps, or otherwise disrupting the intended use of a computer, closing important tools.
