Tech Tip: Apple warning regarding 32-bit applications
PRODUCT: 4D | VERSION: 16 | PLATFORM: Mac
Published On: April 13, 2018

Apple has began warning users as they launch 32-bit applications on macOS High Sierra 10.13.4. The warning looks like the following screenshots:

The warning is visible the first time you launch the application.

Clicking OK dismisses the dialog and the application launches normally.

Subsequent launches of the application should function normally, however this is an important time to consider the current situation as future updates to the macOS platform will (eventually) render 32-bit applications unusable.

If you want to stay up-to-date with Apple's OS, you should consider using 4D's 64-bit versions available at www.4d.com.

If you want (or need) to continue using the 32-bit version of 4D, you should remain on the current OS you are already using.
