Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) has been embraced by 4D since version 11, replacing 4D Draw. Able to be used for much more than it may seem from the surface, it is used by Two Way Communications to monitor, manage, and report temperature data acquired from temperature loggers. This session will teach the essentials to master interactive maps and charts in 4D and illustrate how maps are created and how the positioning of loggers is handled, going into detail about how objects are created and what it takes to move things around on the screen. Also, it will be shown that it is possible to display charts with tens of thousands of data points and navigate and explore the acquired data without the use of any plugins.
