This session will expand on how 4D Mobile is used in an enterprise environment for a regional airline. The enterprise application is deployed using 4D and 4D OEM Desktop connected to a 4D server throughout a diverse WAN/LAN environment. The speed and performance of our application are improved using SQL Passthru and other new features of version 16, such as workers.

As the need for mobile device connectivity has grown, 4D Mobile, powered by Wakanda, was chosen as the platform for serving Angular based progressive web applications especially using the newest features of Wakanda. Wakanda’s integration with Node and NPM has improved the development process of web and mobile applications. As the needs for external connectivity to other data sources changes, 4D has been very adept and keeping the application current with the latest security and connectivity protocols.
