Tech Tip: Mojave may require Full Disk Access to be explicitly granted for accessing some user-level files

Apple introduced a new Security & Privacy option called Full Disk Access in MacOS Mojave.


4D does not typically need this level of access. However, this feature may be required depending on what the developer has programmed the application to do .

The MacOS Adminsitrator can add applications to this list if the application has been programmed in such a way that it needs access to any of the restricted parts of the MacOS file system.

To do this, click on the + symbol and navigate to the 4D Application that you wish to whitelist.
