Importing datasets to a document is a frequently implemented feature as it allows users to gather relevant data and consolidate it in a format that allows formatting, storing, and sharing. A prime feature of 4D to import data to is 4D View Pro. One of the intended objectives of 4D View Pro’s is to provide a way to format data and it can also be exported into many standard formats compatible with most spreadsheet applications and even PDFs. This Technical Note will provide an implementation on how to import data from a query to 4D View Pro and ways to extend the feature set of the implementation.
