Server Core is a minimal server installation option for the Windows Server operating systems. It runs without the graphical user interface that is included in the Desktop Experience.It cannot use installers or Event Viewer or Windows (File) Explorer -- there is no desktop in Server Core, by design. Instead, it is designed to be managed through the command line using PowerShell.

4D is not certified for Server Core because 4D requires a graphical context.

4D is designed to have a graphical interface and therefore requires the 'Desktop Experience' also known as the full or standard installation. 4D requires this mode and will not function properly without it.
