With the introduction of new file and folder commands combined with object notation, 4D now makes file management much more intuitive to implement a built-in file explorer entirely within its own environment without relying on the default operating system’s file explorer. This alternative allows developers to fully control the UI of the file explorer while maintaining the same navigational functionalities which include column sorting, forward/back buttons, and create/delete.
