Tech Tip: Avoid using "3rd Party Mac Developer" certificates when signing

Since notarization requirements have been tightened as of 2/3/20, any certificates like the "3rd Party Mac Developer" certificates will no longer be able to pass notarization. There are at most 2 certficates that can be used for signing and notarizing apps outside of the app store.
Developer ID Application certificate:
- Used to sign applications
Developer ID Installer certificate:
- Only used for signing .pkg files
Make sure to obtain the proper certificate before signing and submitting your app for notarization.
