A new form object introduced in 4Dv18 is the stepper.



By clicking the arrow buttons, the stepper allows users to scroll through multiple types of values such as:

• numerical values
• times
• dates

A variable or expression can be assigned to the object to contain or modify the value of the object.

In the scale section of the object properties, the maximum, minimum and incremental steps of the Stepper can be defined to properly control it.



This feature can provide an alternative way for users who prefer mouse controls over keyboard entry a way to select values.
