PRODUCT: 4D | VERSION: 18 | PLATFORM: Mac & Win
Published On: June 18, 2020
When working with 4D Write Pro, you may come across widows and orphans. A widow is a paragraph ending line that is displayed at the beginning of the following page. Likewise, an orphan is a paragraph-opening line that appears by itself at the bottom of a page.
In order to avoid widows and orphans, you can advantage of a new attribute to avoid these scenarios.
WP SET ATTRIBUTES($range_o;wk avoid widows and orphans;wk true) |
Simply set the attribute to a range and widows and orphans will now be avoided.
