With the introduction of ORDA, there have been many optimizations in performance which has pushed a 2-3x improved LAN performance and up to 30x WAN performance. However, there are still prebuilt features in 4D such as the Query editor which still utilizes the classic 4D way of querying. To take advantage of ORDA queries, this technical note provides a simple way to build a new query editor from scratch while fully utilizing ORDA capabilities.
