When converting a binary mode database to a project mode database one of the possible warnings generated in the conversion log is the following:
{
"message": "Compatibility setting 'CPU priority' restored to factory settings.",
"severity": "warning"
}
This warning is stating that the conversion process changed the 'CPU Priority' setting to default values.
While the warning states that the settings is a compatibility setting it is actually located in the General section of the Database Settings and not the Compatibility section.
As shown in the image above, the setting is found at the bottom. However these settings are deprecated and no longer useful as 4D has been optimized over the years since this setting was relevant. Newer databases or databases with these settings set to default will not have a CPU Priority section.
To prevent the warning and manually address the issue click on the "Reset to factory settings" button on the bottom left of the window. This will set the settings to default and remove the display of the entire CPU Priority section entirely as explained above and shown below.
With the optimizations there is no need to worry about this setting or warning at all during a conversion to project mode..
