Pictures are useful tools to impart information or to provide aesthetics, which is why it is not uncommon to find images in documents. With 4D Write Pro being 4D’s word processing feature set, it allows images to be placed in a document and provides tools for the image to be adjusted to best fit the document requirements. With the many configurations for images, 4D Write Pro provides functions for users to insert images through the toolbar or contextual menu. However, like some other word processing applications, 4D Write Pro allows users to copy and paste or drag and drop images into the document. This Technical Note with provide information and a technique on how to handle and react to a user attempting to paste or drag and drop an image into a 4D Write Pro document in specific ways.
