When registering a 4D Server product number (i.e. 4USE170-UUS001-12345-67890) and you get the error stating "you do not have the license to use this product," it is likely because you may be in the wrong application.

For example, the 4D SERVER product number provides access to the 4D SERVER product. If you tried to register it with 4D (not server), then you would see the error stating that "you do not have the license to use this product." It is because the SERVER license does NOT provide access to the single-user product.
