4D Developer Standard and 4D Developer Pro allows you to build and deploy an interpreted runtime application to any user. The user may open the application in 4D without a license, but they will be restricted to using it in application mode only.



In application mode, the user will only have access to methods and forms that are available from the menus and from the On Startup Database method. Also, they will not be able to access design mode from application mode without a license.



Note that users without a 4D license cannot access compiled applications.
