A benefit of using ORDA is the optimizations implemented in which the requests only pull the data that is needed from the Server as opposed to loading eveything.

A feature that benefits from this are list boxes which are typically used to only display certain parts of the data and not everything. A behavior to note with list boxes is the function to set columns to be hidden and not be displayed. Even though the column is hidden, the data represented in the column will still be loaded.
