When creating a new form from scratch, you may notice that shortcuts like cut, copy, paste, and select all are not initially available. These shortcuts are actually enabled when the associated menu bar contains Edit menu item containing those actions and shortcuts.

Make sure to attach an associated menu bar that contains the Edit menu item so users are able to use those basic shortcuts.
