With 4D v18 and newer moving towards 64-bit only, 4D Write has been replaced by 4D Write Pro. This inherently means that any form containing a 4D Write area or any method containing 4D Write code must be removed or replaced with a 4D Write Pro area along with its new commands. Depending on the database, this conversion can be a daunting task. The purpose of this tech note is to help developers currently running on v17 or older prepare their app for 4D Write Pro.
