When using new features and commands for the first time, it can be easy to jump right in and start applying and creating values. While the documentation does provide information on the properties and the expected values, a direct example can also be very helpful. This is expecially relavant with commands that take in an object for a parameter.
For example, with 4D Write Pro, there are many properties that require inputs of a specific structure, such as tabs. Instead of going in and using the WP SET ATTRIBUTES command right away, it can be very useful to use the WP GET ATTRIBUTES command first to see what the expected value should be and how it is formatted.
There are many other situations where this can be useful, some of which are:
- The 4D settings (Build, Backup, ect.)
- 4D Write Pro document and properties
- 4D View Pro document and properties
- Dynamic Forms
- Project Mode Structure
