As a developer or admin, it is nice to have a way to quickly view and perform operations on a table of a With the macOS operating system, via its Gatekeeper security barrier, warns the user in case of launching or opening installer of an unverified application. When software is downloaded from an internet source other than Mac App Store, the Gatekeeper function will warn the user about a potential security risk when launching the application for the first time. The warning is the result of the application not being digitally signed using an Apple developer certificate. If the user wishes to proceed, he or she must manually enable an option from the Security and Privacy section of the System Preferences to allow the application to run.
