Tech Tip: Handling corrupted BLOB errors in specific record

Corrupted record can be difficult to trace, but can often happen due to a sudden disconnection while writing a record or a failing hard drive. If this occurs, try the following steps:
1. See whether the error shows record number. If possible, try deleting the record.
2. If record cannot be deleted, attempt MSC restore to a previous backup
3. If error still occurs, try exporting all records as text, use TRUNCATE TABLE on the problem table, and reimport data back to the table
4. If none of the above resolves the errors, use MSC repair as the last resort
