From the Structure Editor in the 4D Design environment, a table's XML structure can be quickly viewed by:

1. Select the desired table(s)


2. Copy the tables(s) (either from right-click & copy or ctrl/cmd + c)


3. Open up any text editor


4. Then paste into the text editor (either from right-click & paste or ctrl/cmd + v)

This is an easy way to quickly view the XMl structure of one or a few selection of tables. To see the XML structure of all the tables in the database, it is better to use the Export > Structure definition to XML file found in the File menu.
