When developing a mobile application with 4D for iOS or 4D for Android, templates for detail forms may appear to not have enough pre-designated areas to fit all desired fields.



However, in a detail form template, it is possible to insert additional fields beyond the template layout. After all default spaces are filled, more fields may be added beneath by simply double-clicking or dragging-and-dropping the additional fields.



Note that inserting additional fields is only possible in detail forms, not list forms.
