While upgrading your 4D app, sometimes it can be easy to overlook the plugins and making sure everything is still functioning. If 4D mentions that a plugin is disabled, here are the general troubleshooting steps to take:
1. Make sure you have the latest version of the plugin
2. Assure the plugin documentation mentions support for your version of 4D
3. Assure the plugin matches architecture with 4D (E.G. plugin should be 64-bit for versions v17 R5 and onward)
4. Assure the plugin is signed and notarized in MacOS Catalina or later OS
5. Contact the plugin developer to assist with compatibility issues
If the developer cannot be contacted or the plugin is no longer supported, the plugin is mostly likely deprecated and you may need to substitute it with native 4D code.
