The On Server Shutdown database method is useful for performing automatic routines before a project application is exited on the server, such as stopping startup procedures or saving reusable preferences for next time. Keep in mind that remote clients must quit the application before the On Server Startup begins. Thus, commands such as EXECUTE ON CLIENT will not work in On Server Shutdown, because there would not be any remote clients when the database method is called.
