Tech Tip: ProcDump requires admin permissions to run

In a crash scenario, ProcDump is the typical first step when it comes to monitoring a 4D app and generating a dump file upon the next potential crash. To be sure ProcDump is actually monitoring the app (E.G. 4D.exe, 4D Server.exe, etc.), the terminal window should be visible below:
If the terminal launches then immediately closes, this behavior is most likely due to the logged in user not having admin permissions. In this case, launch the ProcDump with admin privileges using right click > Run as administrator. This should allow ProcDump to properly monitor the app before a potential crash.
