The version and build number of the current 4D application is useful to have, especially when contacting 4D Technical Support. To quickly copy the information as text, open the About dialog (“About 4D…” or “About 4D Server…”) of the 4D or 4D server application. Then, press cmd+shift+C on macOS or ctrl+shift+C on Windows to copy the version text, which, when pasted, would look like this:

4D v19.5 build 19.284062

To copy just the build number (e.g. 284062), press cmd/ctrl+C.
