A new table can be created from a file of data. While the Import window provides some processing to make things easier there are some things to watch for. When a new table is created, it will automatically type the fields based on the data. Numbers will usually use a Real and should be retyped to an integer if needed. After a table is created, the table should be viewed in the structure editor to apply a primary key field. Without a primary key field the table will not be accessable through ORDA.
