4D gets new builds and versions released regularly to keep up to date with the latest changes in technology. One of the changes that 4Dv20 has implemented is in the minimum version of TLS supported. As of 4Dv20, TLS v1.3 is supported and selected by default to meet security standards. Also, TLS v1.0 and TLS v1.1 are deprecated and no longer supported, meaning only TLS v1.2 and TLS v1.3 are available in 4Dv20.

With upgraded databases, calls to the SET DATABASE PARAMETER command on the Min TLS version option and applied with the TLSv1_0 or the TLSv1_1 constants (now _o_TLSv1_0 and _o_TLSv1_1 respectively) will instead apply TLS v1.3.
