Table fields with type blob or picture will have an additional property to be stored "Outside data file".



This option can be handy when dealing with large data files as it can save space from data file backups. To find where this data is stored, it will always default to a folder next to the data file with the name "yourDataFileName.ExternalData". Within the folder will include the table and field subfolders.

In the case where the data file has to be moved, be sure to also keep that ExternalData folder next to the .4DD as well.
