When deploying a built client-server project application, note that structure settings are read-only from the server app. To allow settings to be modified, enable user settings via Settings > Security > Enable User Settings before building the application. Then, some settings may be modified from the server via “User Settings” or “User Setting for Data File”. This makes it easy to manage settings for different deployment sites. Note that backup settings can only be modified in “User Settings for Data File”.
