Tech Tip: Use BUILD APPLICATION command for OEM builds
PRODUCT: 4D | VERSION: 20 | PLATFORM: Mac & Win
Published On: March 19, 2024

When building an OEM application, keep in mind that the final build cannot be done through the Build Application dialog (Design > Build application). To build an OEM application, the BUILD APPLICATION command must be used. Also, the IsOEM key must be defined in the build project to gurantee that the application is built as an OEM application.

Is this new to the latest version of 4D v20? I have been building standalone applications for deployment on 20 for some time now using the Build Application dialog without issue. If possible, please let me know if this change will effect that process moving forward. Thank you.
