When updating records, an error may be encountered that states the following:

"The current journal file of database [name] is not available. For data security reasons, write operations are stopped."

This error can occur if 4D cannot write to the log (.journal) file during record updates. Check the size of the log file on the drive, and make sure that its location has enough memory space. If it does not, clear some space on the disk or move the project to another drive that has sufficient space.
