To install and activate key.pem and cert.pem files for use of TLS for web server, the files must be placed in the correct location—next to the Project folder in 4D standalone or 4D server, or in the client database folder in 4D remote. In addition, HTTPS must be enabled in web settings. Lastly, if the web server is running, it must be restarted for it to take effect. When TLS is enabled, a dhparams.pem file is automatically generated (though it may take a few minutes) next to the key.pem and cert.pem files for perfect forward secrecy.
