The 4D Internet Commands provided a set of communication utilities over the internet. It is a plug-in that was provided as part of the 4D installer and would be found in a PLUGINS directory next to the installed 4D, 4D Server, and 4D Volume Desktop packages.

With the new features being added to 4D, some of the feature set of the 4D Internet Commands have been removed and replaced by native features. As such the 4D Internet Commands plug-in is not automaticatlly provided in the newer installers for the 4D 20 feature releases (20Rx).

The plug-in can instead be found on the product download site as a zipped package:
product-download.4d.com

When the page is viewed, it can be helpful to specify the build to make sure the correct matching version of the plug-in is downloaded.

Make sure to check the deprecated features to see which items are removed as features like Mailing and FTP are deprecated and removed.
