When building an application via the Build Application window, on rare occasion the build may fail with an error message stating "Unknown error":



Check the Build Application log to see if there are any clues. For example, the log could state that the "Compiled" target failed:



This may be the case when attempting to build to a destination folder containing an existing build. Try removing the previous build from that location, or selecting a different destination folder.
