When running a 4D web server and connecting to it, the web server may respond with a 429 error describing the error as a too many requests error.

If this is not expected, a possible cause of the error is the Web Server license. Ensure a 4D Web Server license is available for the 4D application running the web server.
In cases where a license was recently installed, upgraded, or renewed it is possible that the license was not applied properly.
To address this try any of the following possibly again:

• Use the Refresh Button
• Perform an instant activation
• Remove the installed license and older unused licenses and try again
• Remove/Rename the licenses folder and let 4D create a new one through the instant activation process. Any licenses that need to be kept can be moved over afterward.

The list is in order from most convient to least, but also most effective to least in the case of an issue with the licenses or folder permissions.
