The command Open datastore utilizes the 4D REST API. Therefore, its connection consumes a 4D Client license on the 4D Server side.

To ensure proper use of OPEN DATASTORE:

• Verify Available Licenses: Confirm that your 4D deployment has sufficient 4D Client licenses to support OPEN DATASTORE connections. Each connection to a remote datastore will consume one Client license.

• Configure Authentication: Depending on the remote 4D server’s user login mode, you may need to set up authentication for OPEN DATASTORE. Refer to the 4D documentation for guidance on configuring authentication.
