When importing photos from smartphones (iPhone, Android, etc.), 4D does not interpret EXIF orientation tags. As a result, images may appear rotated or flipped, even though they display correctly in apps like macOS Preview or Windows Photos.
4D does not natively support EXIF orientation tags on macOS or Windows; while GET PICTURE METADATA returns correct values and exports preserve the tag, images are not adjusted automatically, so developers must handle rotation manually for greater flexibility.
