Tech Tip: Backwards Compatibility with 4D 21

4D 21 Beta is available and it can be good to get started with testing.
Once a Binary Mode database is converted to 4D 21, it cannot be reopened with earlier versions of 4D.
Project Mode databases opened in 4D 21 can still be reopened in 4D 20. However, any code that uses features exclusive to 4D 21 will not function correctly in older versions.
Before upgrading or making changes, always create a working copy of your database to preserve your current setup and avoid potential issues.
