When defining a function call for an event action, such as a function that triggers onclick of a button, occasionally the desired function does not show up in the list of available ones. When this happens, especially if the function was recently created, check that the function code has been saved in the editor. If it still does not show up, the list of available functions most likely needs to be refreshed by clicking the Refresh icon in the event box of the contextual panel.
