Tech Tip: The 4D Extensions folder with Compiled Merged Applications
PRODUCT: 4D | VERSION: | PLATFORM:
Published On: November 17, 2000

In 4D v6.7, when you create an application that is compiled and merged with 4D Engine, you need to include the "4D Extensions" folder with the application you distribute. For example:

On Windows, you need to have a "4D Extensions" folder in the same folder as your compiled and merged ".EXE" structure file. (If you're using any plug-ins, you'll also need to have a "Win4DX" folder at the same level.)

On Macintosh, you need to have a "4D Extensions" folder in the same folder as your compiled and merged structure file. (If you're using any plug-ins, you'll also need to have a "Mac4DX" folder at the same level.)

For an explanation of why the files in the "4D Extensions" folder are needed, see the tech tip "The FormWiz file is needed"
