Currently, 4D Open, ODBC Driver for 4D Server, and JDBC Driver for 4D Server are not able to connect with 4D Server using encryption. Here are some suggestions to work around this:

1. Use a vpn connection between 4D Server and the client application.

2. Use web services. Web Services supports https.
