Getting the error "No 4D Volume Desktop license number has been found" when building an application?

The first thing that should be done when the above error is generated is to check the "Licenses" page of the "Build Application" dialog:

It is important to include the necessary licenses when building an application. However, there are instances where this error is generated when licenses are present on the "Licenses" page. If this is the case, be sure that the licenses are still valid and have not already expired.
