When building a standalone application, the licenses "4D Developer Professional" and "4D Unlimited Desktop" are required to be included when building.
In previous versions of 4D, when a license was not included in the build, the build process would complete and would generate a built application. The built application, however, would not be licensed and thus would not be useable. Whenever the application was opened it would throw an error and fail to run.
As of 12.1, 4D will automatically detect if these licenses have been included as part of the build process. If an attempt to build a standalone application is made and the two necessary licenses are not included, the following error message will be displayed during the build process:
No built application will be produced in this case.
