With 4D v11 SQL, you to control whether or not the splash screen is displayed at startup. This is controlled via a setting in the preferences for each database. The preference is located under the "Application / Options" theme and is located at the bottom of the screen in the "Display Windows" section.



When this setting is checked the splash screen will be displayed in your database (whether merged, single-user, or client/server).

When this setting is unchecked the splash screen will not be displayed in your database (whether merged, single-user, or client/server)
